Tricks on Your Skimboard

Skimboarding is always fun in and of itself. However, some people like to have a variety when they skim, and also challenge themselves when they skim. To do this the only way to learn is practice some tricks on the waves. You cannot be afraid to fall, but it will happen. However, as you fall, you learn. So get out there and start trying some tricks!

Tricks you can Attempt

• 360: This is when you start to ride and you place your fingers in the sand simontaneously
• Oly: when you lift your board at least 3 inches out of the water
• Backwards: When you start to skim, and you ride with your back facing the water
• Pop shove it: this is when you use you skateboarding techniques to pop the skimboard from underneath
• 180: When you turn the skimboard to the side
